Articolele din aceasta revista îsi propun sa faca cunoscute rezultatele cercetarilor si proiectelor importante desfasurate în ultimii ani în principalele institutii biblioteconomice din Republica Moldova. Autorii s-au referit la realitatile domeniului si au pus în evidenta aportul bibliotecilor la dezvoltarea sociala si economica a tarii. Rezultatele cercetarilor noastre demonstreaza ca s-a realizat un salt substantial în satisfacerea nevoilor de informatii si democratizarea societatii.

The articles in this issue intend to present the results of the research and important projects developed in the last years in the main libraries in Republic of Moldova. The authors refered to the realities in the field and underlined the contribution of the libraries to the social and economical development of our country .The results of our research show that there has been done an important progress in meeting the information needs and the democratization of society.
